Changing a site’s design, part II

Nathan Ashby-​Kuhlman brings up a per­fect exam­ple of sites chang­ing their design to fit the con­tent.

Of the sites I visit, the New York Times is one of the few that do these kinds of changes.

Some folks brought up issues with reader con­fu­sion during an ear­lier dis­cus­sion but I think read­ers are per­fectly savy enough to under­stand a slightly changed layout.
