Oooooh lemon-y

These were sup­posed to be a Valentine’s gift for Erica but I didn’t have the required lemon oil at the time.

When it arrived this week I was told that my IOU was being called in… and I’m glad it was!

These are really tasty and have only a hint of lemon and sweet­ness. They taste good on their own, but for more sweet­ness you could add some butter or jam.

Erica thought they’d go really well with chicken salad — with or with­out the sugar on top.
