Oooooh lemon-y
These were supposed to be a Valentine’s gift for Erica but I didn’t have the required lemon oil at the time.
When it arrived this week I was told that my IOU was being called in… and I’m glad it was!
These are really tasty and have only a hint of lemon and sweetness. They taste good on their own, but for more sweetness you could add some butter or jam.
Erica thought they’d go really well with chicken salad — with or without the sugar on top.
