About Chris Heisel
By day, I lead a group of fantastic Web developers (in Django mostly) who make my code look awful in comparison.
By night, I fight crime and solve mysteries with a robot pal of my own creation.
By midday, I like a snack, generally a cookie.
Part of this biography isn’t true (hint, I like cookies and Django, I don’t own a robot).
If you take a look around my blog you’ll see that I’m passionate about a variety of topics from journalism and Django to business and management.
Beyond the realm of this blog, you can find me on Twitter and Delicious and Flickr and elsewhere.
Chris Heisel in a nutshell: journalist turned Web developer and manager who feels awkward writing a page about himself.
About heisel.org
This site is produced with Vim and WordPress. I use Blueprint CSS to do most of the heavy design lifting.
The site is hosted by WebFaction
This is the fourth incarnation of my personal site:
- The first version was a glorified bookmarks page
- The second was a portfolio site showing off my Web and print designs along with a resume
- The third was my first MoveableType-and-eventually-WordPress blog with a much more hideous design that I did in college.
